Cookies Policy
What cookies and similar technologies we use, and how to control them.
Effective date: November 7, 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in much the same way. They help sites remember your choices and understand how the site is used.
2. What we use on Travel Bag Tours
Features you use (local storage). These keep small items on your own device and are not sent to us.
| Name | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
| tbt_saved | Remembers the guides you save with the heart icon | Until you clear it |
| tbt_pop / tbt_sub | Remembers that you closed or used the newsletter pop-up so we do not show it again too soon | Until you clear it |
Analytics and performance. We may use Google Analytics through the Site Kit plugin to see which pages are popular. These cookies (for example names beginning with _ga) usually last up to two years and collect information such as pages viewed and approximate location.
Third-party content. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address. Embedded content from other providers may set its own cookies.
Security and caching. Our host and caching tools may set technical cookies that keep the Site fast and protect it from abuse.
3. Managing and deleting cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and clear local storage when you clear site data. Visit your browser’s help pages for steps. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on. Blocking some cookies may stop features such as Saved trips from working.
4. Changes
We may update this policy as our tools change. The effective date shows the latest version.
